You will appreciate its intensity, its power, and its complexity: wearing a deep purple red colour, this very expressive and well-balanced wine will reveal additional spicy aromas in the mouth.

- History -

Plot of 87 ares located in the commune of Igé. Planted in the 1960s and 1970s. First vintage in 2022.

- Terroir -

Clay-limestone soil. East/West exposure

- Grape variety -

100% Gamay

- Viticulture -

Grass cover between the vines is controlled. The agricultural practices preserve the natural ecosystem: HEV level 3. The average yield is 60hL per hectare.

- Vinification -

Mechanical harvesting. 100% de-stemming. Vatting time of 5 to 8 days.

- Annual production -

Approximately 4,000 bottles (75cl)

- Tasting -

Rouge pourpre profonde.
Intensité, puissance et complexité caractérisent le nez ! Fruits noirs au premier nez (myrtille, cassis, mûre) puis les fruits rouges suivent (fraises, framboise, cerise) très expressif.
On retrouve en bouche tous les arômes du nez, avec une pointe d’épices en plus. Equilibrée, attaque souple et tanins fondus, soyeuse (2022 excellent millésime solaire)
